Power... The Sword that changes lives forever

They are heroes who were in need for Great Power, Great Strength.
To change the world to be a better place.
Fiction or non-fiction alike.

As Rasengan is to Naruto,
As Gundam Suits are to the Pilots,
As Swords are to Shinigami,
As Kung-fu is to Wong Fei Hung,
As firepower is to the military,
As Faith is to the Catholic,
As Focus is to Bruce Lee,
As NLP is to Adam Khoo,
As strategies are to Clemen Chiang,
As Love is to God,
As political power is to political leaders,

So is his Sword of Wisdom, Knowledge, Time and Money to Lenz, in this World o' his.

However, before they had the power to change the World, they had the Belief and Will of
"I Can".

I Can, so I Will.
I Can't, so I Must!

Power... The Sword that changes lives forever.
Will... The eternal source of strength that wields the incredible power.

Everyday, I seek to to sharpen my sword and brandish it with more skill, grace and effectiveness.

I-ke!

Sudden Rejection

Got a rejection from my professor @ 1107 that i cant postpone my test date.

The old me: shocked, depressed, regretful, STRESSED, dilemmatic, in a total loss at what to do.

The NOW me: All that above for 10 mins. then taking charge at 100% responsibility, and finding an alternate strategy, a solution.

gonna talk to him in his office at 1600.

Ok ok... modification on 24-hour Challenge

Under-estimation on my part.

Yet to master speed-reading, i decided to undertake the challenge. the challenge in itself is that its not feasible for me to get a good understanding from attempting to read 20+ pages of information in 2 hours.

Thus, have postponed test to Tuesday tomorrow. The strategy remains the same nonetheless.

A little regretful for the mistake made but moving on!

Deadline: 03-10-2006 1330 hrs.

"Add 2 weeks to your life"

Something that stirred up feelings about my past self:

"Some things hasve to be done perfectly, and some do not. So do not strive for perfection on little details that do not matter. People are usually paid to get results, not to be perfect."

That explains why i used to spend so much time in NP on nitty gritty details in my report and presentation slides, making a project seem to take a longer time than it should.

Of course this does not mean we should not strive for our best in our work. Allocate appropraite time i believe.

Decide. Do it. And do not waste your time on
regrets or rehashing decisions, justifying bad ones or salvaging poor time investments that ought to be written off. Use the past as a guide for the future, not as an excuse for not dealing with it."

Ya, so much for regrets...

Challenge! 99% in less than 24 hours!

I give myself a once in a lifetime challenge:

What?
To obtain 99% in Business Law Mid-term Test revising in 14 hours! And you don't need to be stressed to study!

Why?
To prove that its not the amount of time you take to study a subject to SCORE, but the STRATEGY involved in studying!

How?
  1. Studying in 2 to 2.5 hour blocks per chapter
  2. Mind Map
  3. State-shifting
  4. Reading to understand the spirit of the Law
  5. Reading to relate to real life cases
  6. Reminding myself that I'm studying this subject because I want to excel in it to reach my exciting GPA Goal (32.0), and to protect my business with basic knowledge of the Law!
Stay tuned to this blog to await my results! I-ke!

*Warning*: Not to be attempted by the faint-hearted and easily stressed!

how must i change me life to feel less pain?

have been sacrificing too many things that are important to me for equally important aims.

missed 3 days of POE Module 2. gonna miss mass today.

in return, i'll get: better revision and focus in one place to design my destiny, plan my current and future financial status, and revise to get 99% for BLAW!

Modification: stick to what i have scheduled earlier, FERVENTLY.

my 1st comment after a long time! yes! euphoric!

speaking like jesus and a NLP person

when i open my mouth to speak, these are the things i wanna acheive:

  1. speak truths that bind us all (e.g. we all want to love and be loved)
  2. lean on evidence and facts, not personal biased opinions/unproved gossips and rumours
  3. motivate another through my personal beliefs
  4. spread the power of positive values and modifying negative values
  5. asking questions that enable me and others, not disabling and crippling them
  6. getting more ideas through talking about them (1 ideas + 1 ideas = infinite ideas); less about talking about people

Driving Race Cars and Driving Your Life!

You know the secret to making those 'impossible' turns around the sharp corners in racing?? And in Life?

The biggest mistake newbie drivers make is that they FOCUS (turning their head and looking at) on the WALL they are so FEARFUL to hit into. Thus, they drive... into the wall!

However, the biggest secret (which takes time to habitualize into, but we can all do it) is that they keep in FOCUS on the ROADWAY they wanna go to while making the turn. Thus, they drive.. around the sharp corner!

Similarly, in LIFE, instead of keeping in FOCUS the "WHAT IFs" or the TERRIBLE OUTCOMES your decisions might give you, FOCUS on your IDEAL OUTCOME!

Takes time, but if you do this, your LIFE WILL CHANGE.

want a better answer in Life? ask yourself better questions!

Thinking is nothing but the process of asking and answering questions.

-tony robbins

i respect thinking a lot by doing that A LOT.

'+' Outcome: i have set up a stonger system of discerning choices and catering for Life's contingencies.

'-' Outcome: take too much time to cater to contingencies and ensuring my decisions are the right one! Asking myself 1001 "What if's?"! Worrying too much about fear! Indecisive! Dilematic! Distracted to short term happiness (e.g. tidying table) instead of long term goals cos' i worry about them too much!

Old: "Ya, good idea > er, what if..." X 10, 000 times
(thinking too much about how worse it can be)"

New: "Ya great idea, i can imagine how awesome this will be! > ok, shouldnt be a problem right?" > "Lets do it!"
(Seeing life AS IT IS and how better it can be!)

thinking "Positively" is not about looking at life in a denial way ("oh, the exam is easy" [whether i study or not]). its about looking at life AS IT IS and how it can be better (The exam is going to be challenging, how can i be 100% ready for it to obtain 100% marks?)

Starting TODAY, ask yourself QUESTIONS that ENABLE you, not disable you.

If YOU understand what i'm talking about here, you have learnt something invaluable.
