Something that stirred up feelings about my past self:
"Some things hasve to be done perfectly, and some do not. So do not strive for perfection on little details that do not matter. People are usually paid to get results, not to be perfect."
That explains why i used to spend so much time in NP on nitty gritty details in my report and presentation slides, making a project seem to take a longer time than it should.
Of course this does not mean we should not strive for our best in our work. Allocate appropraite time i believe.
Decide. Do it. And do not waste your time on regrets or rehashing decisions, justifying bad ones or salvaging poor time investments that ought to be written off. Use the past as a guide for the future, not as an excuse for not dealing with it."
Ya, so much for regrets...
