JC students tend to take charge of their lives more; they identify what they need to do and they put into action what they plan to do. Powerful!
Poly students tend to do things by 3 ways:
- Wait for deadlines to come, feel the pinch and incoming pain if they don't pass the subject, and do it (e.g. last minute assignments)
- Indulge, focus on things that give us short term pleasures.
- Wait for their lecturers and teachers to demand from them the things they need to do.
So the thing is, why are there JC students who don't do well, and Poly students who do extremely well?
Because if you don't learn to take charge of your life, identifying what, why and how you need to do things, then you'll switch between the two ways inconsistently. Sometimes doing well, and other times not. Inconsistent strategy, inconsistent results.
Start by taking charge of your life today!
