a LESSON for ME: DETERMINATION in UNCERTAINTY

"There are missions that carry heavy risks, but cannot be avoided.

The ability to show your courage to your teammates when needed, and the ability to get through a bad situation,

that is what we look for in a Chuunin, a squad leader.

Those who cannot bet their fate in a critical situation,

Those who give up when given the chance because there is a next year, and let their minds sway over an uncertain future,

fools who only carry a light determination like that have no right to become a Chuunin.

I am saying that you here who have chosen to take it gave the right answer for the difficult tenth question

That is what I believe

You can deal with the difficulties you face."

-Ibiki

Truly, there is no place in this World for people who give up their responsibilities and powers to the people around them, the environment and the future.
_____

i remember clearly now, it was the undying DETERMINATION in all my 3 years @ Ngee Ann Polytechnic that pulled me through the tough times. i was still developing my strategy to present, to study effectively and fight head-to-head with my pain, and if it were not for the DETERMINATION to reach what i had envisioned; a CERTIFICATE OF MERIT, i would not have entered SMU today.

Dammit, it was PURE HARD WORK & DETERMINATION.

seems like this very moment i finish typing this, that familiar part of the old Lenz has returned:

always envisioning,
never giving up,
never scared,
always getting into action.
Let's go!

VALEDICTORIAN!
